A Datalogger or (Passive) tracker is a device that you conceal on a vehicle and
download the stored data onto a PC. Passive trackers outsell Real Time Trackers
Due to cost and no monthly fee requirements. Most buyers can do the job without
the convenience of a real time tracker. The disadvantage to a
datalogger is that one must remove the tracker from the vehicle to view the data.
A Real Time vehicle tracker enables the customer to see where a vehicle is at any
given time without downloading the data to a PC. Advantages of a real time system
are tremendous. Know where your vehicle is at any given time. A stolen vehicle
with a real time tracker will allow law enforcement to recover your vehicle.
The disadvantage to a real time tracking system is the monthly fees. Because
real time trackers use a built in cellular phone to transmit the Satellite GPS information,

DATA TRANSMISSIONS The heart of the Aertrax system is the new Cellemetry Data Service that provides a secure and dependable means of data transport. The same bulletproof error correction system that the cellular company uses to preserve call billing data is utilized to transmit Aertrax III messages.
